Roundtable: Cloud Competitiveness and AI Readiness

Dubai Chambers, in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), is pleased to invite Belgian Business Council Members to an executive roundtable focused on Cloud Competitiveness and AI Readiness.

The session will be convened by the Economic Acceleration Unit (EAU) at DET, which works closely with both government and industry stakeholders to identify market frictions, regulatory challenges, and growth constraints in support of Dubai’s D33 economic agenda.

This roundtable will be a targeted, action-driven discussion designed to bring together senior leaders to:

• Highlight key market challenges and competitiveness gaps affecting cloud and AI adoption
• Examine practical regulatory, operational, and ecosystem measures to strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading digital economy hub
• Collaboratively explore and shape potential solutions to address identified issues

Participants are encouraged to reflect in advance on key challenges, bottlenecks, and opportunities relevant to the themes outlined in the attached pre-read ahead of the session. Any supporting examples, case studies, market insights, data points, or other substantiating materials that may help frame the discussion and support solution development are also welcome.
